Australian pet food company SavourLife recently donated its 10 millionth dollar to dog rescue groups across Australia, supporting efforts to care for vulnerable animals and reduce euthanasia rates.
Funds have supported emergency vet care, desexing programs, shelter upgrades, rural transport, and, in 2024 alone, more than 100,000kg of donated dog food.
SavourLife’s Adopt-A-Dog platform, launched in 2019, now lists over 1,400 dogs each month from more than 300 rescue groups. In 2024, it generated over $950,000 in donations and provided free dog food to new adopters.
Founder Michael McTeigue said the milestone was “beyond humbling” and credited customers for helping make a difference. “This isn’t just about dog food – it’s about giving every dog the chance to be loved, safe, and home.”
